Over the past week, Michael Jackson’s music has once again topped charts by selling more than 100,000 copies of his albums “Thriller”, “Number Ones” and “The Essential Michael Jackson”. Here’s the report from CNN.

Jackson’s albums hold the top nine positions of Billboard’s “Top Pop Catalog Albums” chart, according to Nielsen SoundScan sales data released Tuesday.

Jackson’s albums are not eligible for the current Billboard 200 chart, which is for newer albums. But if they were eligible, his record sales would bounce the Black Eyed Peas’ current No. 1 album to fourth place, Billboard said.

Jackson’s albums “Number Ones,” “The Essential Michael Jackson” and “Thriller” all sold more than 100,000 copies last week, close to 20,000 more copies than the Black Eyed Peas’ “The E.N.D.”

Jackson’s songs were on the Top 10 download lists in 21 countries, according to iTunes’ Web site early Wednesday.

For anyone that purchased tickets to Michael Jackson’s originally final concert debut will be offered one of two things. Either a refund or a unique souvenir ticket.

From CNN :
Michael Jackson fans who purchased tickets for his final concerts will receive a full refund or, if they chose, a commemorative ticket, the concert promoter said Tuesday.

“The world lost a kind soul who just happened to be the greatest entertainer the world has ever known,” said Randy Phillips, president and chief executive officer of AEG Live.

“Since he loved his fans in life, it is incumbent upon us to treat them with the same reverence and respect after his death.”

Fifty sold-out Jackson concerts were scheduled for the O2 Arena in London, starting July 13, with admission costing at least $105. The shows were billed as the final concerts of his career and were called “This Is It.”

CNN reveals Michael Jacksons will which was written several years ago.

A lawyer filed Michael Jackson’s will — written seven years ago — with the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday morning, court officials said.

The pop icon placed his entire estate — which he estimated to be worth at least $500 million — in the Michael Jackson Family Trust, which was described in another document not filed in court.

The mother of his two oldest children was left out of his will.

“I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Rowe Jackson,” Jackson’s will said.

While it will be up to a court to decide who gets custody of Jackson’s three children, the singer nominated his mother, Katherine Jackson, as their guardian. If Katherine Jackson, 79, is not living, Jackson said, “I nominate Diana Ross as guardian.”

The children — ages 7, 11 and 12 — have been placed under his mother’s temporary guardianship.

Jackson attorney John Branca, attorney Barry Siegel and John McClain, a music industry executive and longtime Jackson friend, were named as executors of the will.

Sources from CNN reports that a public viewing on Michael Jackson’s body will be this Friday at his Neverland ranch.

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — Michael Jackson’s body will be taken to his Neverland Ranch on Thursday morning for a public viewing Friday, a law enforcement source said Tuesday.

A private memorial service is scheduled for Sunday at Neverland.

Also, a Jackson will written in 2002 has been found, according to family lawyer Londell McMillan.

Planning is under way for a 30-car motorcade carrying Jackson’s remains to leave the Los Angeles area at 10 a.m. for Santa Barbara County, California, on Thursday, a source said.

Another state law enforcement source said the California Highway Patrol had not been formally requested to escort the motorcade.

The question of where Jackson will be buried remains unanswered.
